Volunteers Needed!

Sunday evening, October 12, we begin the set-up for the Art Festival! It takes many people to get the display panels up, arrange the tables, chairs and more to be ready for the artists to bring in their artwork on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday the display team is busy transforming the church into an art gallery. All needs to be ready for our Show to open at noon on Friday, October 17.

There are many ways that you can sign up to help. Our volunteer sign up page is linked with the QR code here or you can click on it to be directed to the sign up page.

We will have a display Sunday at the Fall Festival with signup sheets for all of the areas where you can help. Stop by our table and we will answer any questions you may have. Not sure where you want to help? Take an orange flyer that lists all of the areas. 

The Art Festival website: www.salemwestpresartfest.com also has a link to the sign-up page. The website includes all of the Festival happenings and features a different artist each day. Be to check it out!

Arthur Hill will have his service at Westminster, though no date has yet been set.

LeAnn Goodenberger will be undergoing more cancer treatments at OHSU this Wednesday and every third week thereafter through the end of the year.

The before worship Bible Study will begin on Sunday, October 5th at 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. We will be studying the Gospel according to Mark. I will be teaching it. Participants should bring a Bible with them to class. The sanctuary and Russel Hall have plenty of Bibles to borrow for classes. 

Although this is an "adult" Bible Study, youth are welcome to join. Children are invited to bring coloring books or small toys when or if they accompany an adult. No homework!

This Sunday's service will be lead by our Youth Group come and hear about our camps and Mission Trip from this summer.

We're excited to kick off Sunday School for children ages pre-school to 5th grade this Sunday at 9:30 AM! This Sunday is lead by Terri Crall.
