Join Us for a Special Meeting with Salem Police Chief Trevor Womack

Hosted by the Southwest Association of Neighbors (SWAN)

You’re invited to attend the March meeting of the Southwest Association of Neighbors (SWAN)—a City of Salem neighborhood association (not an HOA). We’ll be gathering on Tuesday, March 3 at 6:30 p.m. in Boulder Hall at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

We’re excited to welcome Salem Police Chief Trevor Womack as our featured speaker. Chief Womack will share information about Salem Police Department policies and procedures related to ICE and how they’re being implemented in our community. This is a timely and important topic, and we hope you’ll join us to learn more.

Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for Q&A, so you can ask questions about ICE, local law enforcement, or other public safety topics.

Whether you're a longtime SWAN member or just curious about what’s happening in our neighborhood, we’d love to see you there. This is a great chance to stay informed and connect with your community.

"We Are All Part of God's Story"

Get ready for the annual Women's Retreat! All women are invited to share a time of fellowship, renewal, and spiritual growth at the beautiful Oregon coast May 1st-3rd. You may choose to attend from Friday through Sunday, or just come for the day on Saturday. Registration begins March 8. Our topic this year will explore our own faith journeys and relationship with God. You'll enjoy discussion, self reflection, music, and free time, all with a view of the ocean and good food. The Women's Retreat Planning Committee hopes to see you there! Please contact office@salemwestpres.org with any questions.

The Red Cross says that it has a need for blood of all types so we hope that congregants can "roll up their sleeves" and donate this March! We have at least 15 more donation spots available so we hope to get a few more!! See you March 9th starting at 1pm! Please contact Bill Nelson (bnelson@pacificomm.net) with any questions.
