A note from the Siewers Family…

It is hard to believe that another year has passed and that 2022 is upon us. With the many opportunities and challenges that come with each New Year, we want to thank you for ALL you did for Siewers Lumber Company in 2021 and for standing strong with us in 2022 and into the future!

As some of you may know we had two of our long timer’s retire at the end of the 2021-year, Martin Thigpen and Lee Meacham. We would like to wish them both the best in their well-deserved and earned retirement. We at Siewers feel each and every employee is invaluable and these two will be greatly missed by the Siewers family, Siewers staff, and so many of our dear customers.

As we all strive to be more successful in 2022, please let us know how we can better serve you throughout the coming year. We want to hear from you.

Happy New Year!

Retirement Announcement

With a combination of happiness for them and sadness for us, We would like to share that Lee Meacham and Martin Thigpen retired from Siewer’s Lumber and Mill effective December 31, 2021.

Lee had been an essential feature at Siewers since August 1985 in the position of Shipping Manager. Throughout his 36 years he has helped to foster and grow the shipping and delivery department at Siewers with a robust sense of responsibility and dedication seen through the eyes of any customer or staff member that required his assistance. Lee leaves us with not only many memories of his years at Siewers but also his legacy with the continuing employment of a Meacham through his son John Meacham, a salesman on staff.

Martin had been an integral piece of the thriving sales team here at Siewers since joining the team in August 1995. Martin’s unique approach to customer service and sales etiquette earned him a reputation as the “go to” salesman for the answer to the impossible questions. Throughout his 26 years at Siewers Martin has earned a loyal customer base that will hopefully find comfort in the knowledge that he has a continuing legacy with his son Page Thigpen, a salesman on staff.
