Prayers Lifted on Sunday July 30, 2023


During last Sunday's worship service, we received the following requests for prayers...


  • Of healing, for Paul M, recovering from hip replacement surgery.
  • Of healing, for Ukraine, for the loss and suffering the people have felt during the war with Russia.
  • Of healing, for Bob, who fell in his house and is recovering in hospital.
  • Of healing, for brother in law Ron, to help him conquer his depression.
  • Of healing, for sister in law Lorraine, suffering with cancer.
  • For Sandy and her family as they care for one another.
  • For comfort and God's love for my friend Peggy.

Live Concert: I don't remember the exact date but a Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center concert in the 1980s.

Mid coast Maine

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Eggs, especially eggs Benedict. Pasta would be a close second.

This Week

This weekend’s Sunday, August 6th, 10:00am service featuring Miriam and Sharon Yarger singing together the hymns, Be Thou My Vision and I Come With Joy. Join us! 


The Ukulele Orchestra will next meet in-person and online Saturday, August 12th at 10:00am in the Asbury Room and on Zoom. 


The next Summer Choir opportunity will take place on Sunday, August 13th. All singers are invited to practice an easy-to-learn anthem starting at 9:00am, before the service at 10:00am. All singers are invited! For more information contact, Peter Hill, music director at petepiano@mac.com.


Community News

The Seeing Eye, in Morristown is seeking volunteer puppy raisers from all walks of life who will nurture and care for their puppies from 7 weeks of age until they are about 15 months old. The volunteer foster family provides love, care, obedience training and social exposure to assist the puppy in becoming a future Seeing Eye dog. Puppies are taught basic manners and commands and are socialized to a variety of social situations and experiences. The Seeing Eye provides lots of support to its volunteer puppy raisers. We provide the conductor, accompanist, and professional soloists and you provide the voices!


Tickets are $15.00 per person, per sing for non-members, and $10 for Masterwork Members and Alumni. Tickets will be available at the door, including packets of 5 tickets for $65.

This Summer

Church Office Summer Schedule

Begins on Monday, June 26th


The Church Office will be closed on Fridays from June 30 - September 6th, office hours are 10am - 1pm.


The Church Office will be closed in observance of the following Summer Holidays:


Labor Day, Monday, September 4th


The Church Office will return to a regular schedule beginning Tuesday, September 5th


We will be continuing to have our weekly worship services on Sundays at 10:00am in our Sanctuary throughout the summer.
