MUSINGS FROM TIM LYLES

I hope you have enjoyed some time with family and/or friends during this Thanksgiving season. Last week, the Thanksgiving Dinner at Second B was a wonderful experience around the tables as church family. Thank you to all who planned, prepared, decorated, and served.

I want to take this opportunity to express thanks to you on behalf of Lindy, Carter and I.

You have welcomed us with kindness and support throughout this past month. I have so appreciated your words of encouragement through cards, emails, text messages, and personal conversations. I am also thankful for time shared at meals to become better acquainted with a good number of you. As we are praying for you, we are grateful for your continued prayers for us.

Plans are well underway for Sunday mornings in Advent and special services during the Advent/Christmas season. Certainly, many look forward to this time of year and the journey through Advent to the celebration of the birth of Christ. I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday and our Sunday mornings throughout the Advent season.
