1) I have been in touch with Pat at St John's Catholic Church and we have chosen the week of April 10th to be our third and last hosting week for this shelter season. The week is already available in the sign up genie here. You may sign up in any open spots.

2) An important fundraiser coming up for Connections on March 31st. It is the first annual Kato Sleep Out. I am going to refer you to the Connections web page for the specifics. You can find it here. https://www.connectionsshelter.org/ The concept is simple. Individuals or teams of up to 7 will sign up for the event. Those attending the event will receive some hands-on knowledge of what it is like for our guests experiencing homelessness. They may even end up spending the night or they may get a “housed card” if they have met their fundraising goal. There is an initial sign up cost for anyone (individual or team member) participating but that goes towards their fundraising goal. I am hopeful that St Johns will help support this effort. The night is open to anyone over the age of 18 and youth with adults supervising.
