DONT GET SCAMMED

We all get them: emails that look a little too urgent or a little too good to be true. As a friendly reminder, always be skeptical of emails requesting personal information, pressing you to act immediately, or promising unexpected rewards. Stop, Look, and Think: Stay safe out there!

Annual Cookie Exchange and Salad Potluck

The Annual Cookie Exchange and Salad Potluck is coming!

Dec. 8, 6:00 pm in Boulder Hall

Traditionally part of Women's Night Out, this is open to the whole church (not just the women!). Bring a salad or appetizer to share and 5 dozen of your favorite cookies. After dinner, you will get to choose 5 dozen various cookies to take home from among all the different offerings to jump-start your holidays. Everyone is welcome!

Session is Listening!

Do you have suggestions, questions or concerns about Westminster Presbyterian? Bring them to elders Bill Faust and Dick Hughes, this Sunday, Dec. 7.

We’ll be at a table in Boulder Hall from 11:30 a.m. to noon-ish on Sunday. Our role is to listen, answer your questions, and ensure your ideas or concerns reach the right people.

A rotating group of elders has been hosting the sessions in Eastminster. This week, we thought we’d try Boulder Hall. Let us know which you prefer.

The listening sessions will continue throughout the month and into January, if there is interest.

Thank you,

WPC Session

Table of Plenty

Thank you to everyone who generously supported Table of Plenty in November. Between the unexpected SNAP issue and the Thanksgiving holiday, your contributions allowed us to donate a remarkable 500 pounds of food to help our neighbors navigate tough times and celebrate the holiday.

Now, as we move into the Christmas season, the need continues. Please keep our neighbors in mind as you celebrate. Remember, Table of Plenty will be closed the week after Christmas for annual reorganization and cleanup. We encourage you to factor this in when planning your December donations.

A gentle reminder: monetary donations are always a welcome alternative to grocery shopping.

Wishing you a joyful Christmas season.

P.S. A quick note on donations: To ensure all food can be distributed, please check expiration dates. For canned fruits and vegetables, we can accept items up to two years from the date. For dried cereals and fruits, we can accept items up to one year past their "best by" date. Unfortunately, items beyond these limits must be discarded and cannot reach our clients.
