TIP 1
Creator Mode - Everyone should have this option now, but it is not for everyone! LinkedIn Members with large networks can emphasize their content. If you are trying to become an Influencer, this option can help. But you need to be someone who already shares very valuable content, often, that is widely viewed. The image to the right should appear on your profile a bit under your Analytics, about 3-4" below your headshot.
This mode will allow you to use hashtags, emphasize your last 4 Posts, and cause Viewers to 'Follow' you rather than Connect. People are 'Followed' for their content, but the person following does not wish to share their posts & activity with the Influencer. The biggest benefit I have found since I enabled this option on Dec. 1st, is that I receive far fewer spam emails, and I'm ok with that! But it does force you to be mindful of your Posts as the members who View your profile will see only your last 4 Posts until they tap 'see all activity'. You will also receive the option to share Newsletters on LinkedIn when in Creator Mode. That said, I am still waiting for that option...

Try Voice Mail! Using the mobile app, get onto your LinkedIn profile and tap the Message icon in the upper right; then tap the New Message icon in the upper right (iPhone). Choose your recipient then look for the microphone icon in the lower right. You have a 1-minute recording option to offer someone the pleasant surprise of your voice!

IN THE SPOTLIGHT!
Many of you are aware that my first career was in the nonprofit industry for over 20 years. During that time, I worked in many different roles and the last 7 years were spent in Business Development and Fundraising. I enjoyed each of the 4 NPOs I served.
It's that time of year for the Alliance of Women Executives (AWE) to raise awareness and money to support our mission. We offer $1500 scholarships to deserving young women who wish to attend a local college in our area. These young ladies have amazing ambition, dreams, and are scholastically accomplished. What they lack is the funding to carry those dreams to college where they can be realized with degrees earned with hard work, dedication motivation, and perseverance.
In May of 2022, AWE will proudly award a record number of 25 scholarships! That's impressive for an organization that just turned 5 last year. As Director of Communications, I could not be more proud to be a part of our incredible mission.
