Lori's Update

January went by in a flash!! Pictures are from our time in Vegas - we did the Sphere (awesome - put it on your list), Hell's Kitchen - I've never seen a restaurant turn tables like they do at HK. We went out to Red Rock Canyon and did a couple of hikes.

This month's newsletter will be a little different from my typical vision. As I mentioned last month, we attended the largest promotional product tradeshow in the US mid-January, in Las Vegas. Expo covered roughly 1 million square feet in scope, the tradeshow floor featured more than 2,500 booths and nearly 1,000 exhibitors, offering the latest products in every category. Read that as over 20,000 steps each day for 4 days!!! The first day is all education and the next three days are meeting with manufacturing reps, seeing new products and anything new in the industry. This year there is a lot of new in the industry. I am always asked what's new, trendy, or the it product for this year........read on my friends.!

Did you know?

Promotional products are the only advertising medium that can engage all your senses!

Sustainable

We are Partnering with top manufacturers

 to provide excellent sustainable options

Each month we will feature a sustainable product we love. This month, the focus is Bags!

In today’s eco-conscious era, the fashion industry is witnessing a significant shift towards sustainability, particularly in the realm of bags. Gone are the days of conventional materials like leather and non-biodegradable plastics. Instead, a new wave of eco-friendly alternatives has emerged, championing recycled materials, organic fabrics, and ethical production practices.

The PPAI Expo 2024 trade floor, which covers roughly 1 million square feet in scope, will have more than 2,500 booths and nearly 1,000 exhibiting companies.

Lori & David said PPAI Expo was a game changer this year. Over 3 days, they both walked over 21,000 steps. The first day of a 4 day Expo, consisted of all education classes, which helps us stay on the cutting edge in our industry, maintain our certifications and to learn from the absolute best in our industry.

Lori is an expert in the Promotional Products Industry Insider with SAGE, the leading provider of information, marketing, and business management solutions to the promotional product industry. As an Insider, Lori was able to attend an exclusive meeting with the owners while at Expo to exchange ideas, share feedback and learn about upcoming features.

MARKETING CALENDAR

We work 1-2 months out so in March we are focusing on April and may and beyond. It is never too early to start working on your project.

“The Expo isn't merely an event,” Dale Denham, PPAI CEO says. “It's the chance to experience professional growth and create connections that continue long after the curtains close.”

What have we been up to in the Community?

January and February - Great things Happening!!!

It’s the New Year!!! What’s not to be excited about entering the New Year? We are always keeping busy and making sure to stay involved within the community. January and February were full of getting out and doing what we love by being out in the community giving back. What didn’t we do these two months??

Lori has to give a quick shout out. Remember in January when I challenged you to send a card in January: I challenge you to send 1 person a card- not on business stationary a regular card- heck draw one, just put it in the mail to that one unsuspecting person- write on the back for them to send a card to someone else. One simple act of kindness can spread and put a smile on someone’s face. Well, Sheila O’Keefe put a big ol’ smile on my face when I received a very sweet card. I hope if you didn’t do it in January, you take time to do it this month!!

In January, we did get out some in the community

  • Cherokee Chamber Annual Meeting. Congratulations to all the award winners, the changing of the board and Congratulations to the Citizen of the Year- Reyes Morales- very deserved!!
  • State of the County - it was a little bitter sweet as our amazing Superintendent, Dr. Hightower will be retiring at the end of the school year!! READ MORE HERE

February we really got busy- you might have noticed you didn’t receive a Newsletter in February or that February and March are combined. February while busy, was so much fun!!

  • We attended the Must Ministries- Cherokee’s Got Talent Fundraiser where acts competed and judged. All of the acts were outstanding! Thank you to celebrity guest judge and sponsor Melissa for inviting us.
  • Check out Cherokee County Fire Chief’s Foundation- Breakfast with Our Best Event. Congratulations to all the winners!! READ MORE HERE

We will leave you all with this. Be the reason someone smiles today, tomorrow or this week. Allegro also challenges you next month to get out in the community, give back, learn something new and make a difference. Be sure to pass it along to everyone you see, once you achieve this yourself, challenge the next person you see to do the same and keep the cycle going!! Also make sure to check out our blogs on our website! FIND OUT MORE HERE
