Woohoo - Graduations Summer, Vacations, Babies and Back to School!!

This year is flying by. It's hard to believe it is already June.

Congratulations to all this years graduates. It was so exciting to my nephew graduate! I'm so proud of him. Friends congratulations on getting your kids to the finish line. It's a big accomplishment!

Summertime always means lemonade stands and who doesn't love some lemonade and supporting kids? I had the absolute pleasure of helping with the Cherokee Chamber's Lemonade Day. It is an amazing opportunity for kids to learn how to plan and run a business. I was asked to cover how to get the word out about their stands, advertising, motto, and branding. Many other experts came in to teach the kids about other aspects of running a business.The cumulation was 25 lemonade stands all over the County. Us judges visited and tasted lemonade all day! Let me tell you, these kids did amazing and the next generation of entrepreneurials are going to kill it!

Summertime is vacation time! Thank goodness right! Everyone needs to relax, refresh and recharge. I think many of us struggle with that work life balance. Take the time! You need it!! Go to our Facebook and tell us where you're going or already have been this summer - you could win a prize!!

We're so excited at Allegro as we're on baby watch! Our own Makenzie (and Cooper) are due any day! We'll let everyone know when she makes her grand entrance!

We work 1-2 months out so in May we are focusing on July and August and beyond. It is never too early to start working on your project.

Why cheap isn't always the best!!!!

We are all about giving the clients what they need and want, but sometimes cheap isn't always the best route and here's why.

When you are buying something for a specific project or event, you want something that is is high in quality for many reasons. Some reasons are durability, more efficient and it is longer lasting. In certain cases, splurging on certain items is necessary so they can last many, many years vs a few years. Equally important, finding a product that accomplishes your goals, and that your recipients want to keep and use!!

A customer recently said to Lori- "Since switching to Allegro Business Products, we noticed that the products you recommend are better quality than what we had been purchasing before!!" This is the type of things we love hearing, we love being able to put smiles on our customer's faces and help them anyway we can! We also spend a great deal of time and education, attending shows, and seeing the products so we make sure we are recommending quality products.

What have we been up to in the Community?

MAY- STAYING BUSY!!

May!! Wow- can't believe were so far into 2024 already, it's going by like crazy! May has been again, a fun busy month. We say this every month, but what month isn't busy lol!! We've been out in the community and making sure to be involved.

This month we've done some fun and exciting things. One thing May is known for is the Kentucky Derby!!! Lori attended a History Cherokee Kentucky Derby event at the Mill on Etowah where there was a lot of food, games and great people- love getting out and seeing friends at events! Lori and David also did a Station 8 ride along. They spent the day with the fire department, go to go on calls with them and spend the day in their shoes to see the behind the scenes of what they do- was a great time and we thank them for letting us hangout for the day!! In other great news- Allegro joined Pickens County Chamber, we're excited to be partnered with them and can't wait to see what comes next! DAB Pickleball & Cherokee Outdoor Y also teamed up for some lessons at the new Pickleball courts at the Outdoor Y and Lori was there for all the fun that went on- was such a great time!! Make sure you check out the new courts!!

Last month we challenged you to do one positive thing for your community, whether it be getting out and volunteering somewhere or helping someone in your community- we want to see you out there making a difference. For this month, we challenge you to say something nice to someone around you. Being nice goes a long way, especially within the community today. A simple "hello" or "have a good day" could make someone's day go from horrible to great- you never know what someone else is dealing with or going through.
