We will livestream the 8:30pm Easter Vigil, (3 April 2021) in the Holy Night of Easter, with overflow in the Fr. John M. Phillips Parish Life Center and for those at home.

On Easter Sunday (4 April 2021) we celebrate a Sunrise Mass at 7:00am in the Church. We will livestream the 9:30am Mass, with overflow in the Parish Life Center and for those at home. We celebrate the 11:15am Mass as usual and we have an 11:30 am Mass in the Parish Center for overflow. That Mass will be live (not livestreamed). There will be No 8am or 6pm Masses on Easter.
Reminder: At Holy Faith masks are required for everyone inside the Church or any of our buildings until further notice.
As we prepare to gather for Mass either virtually or physically, reading the Sunday Scripture readings in advance will help prepare us in mind and heart to fully participate in the Mass.

Dear Parishioners,

We welcomed our new Parochial Vicar, Fr. Philip CMI, last Sunday to our Parish. Here is a brief bio-sketch about Fr. Philip.

Fr. Philip was born as the third son of N.J. Varkey and Thresiama in Parathodu, Kerala, India on September 21st 1974. Fr. Philip has 2 brothers and 2 sisters. His father left for his heavenly abode on 18th February 2019. His mother is in good health. His youngest sister is a Carmelite nun, pursuing her PhD in Biotechnology in Lucknow, India and his eldest brother is a Mechanical Engineering Manager in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Fr. Philip entered the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate Order (CMI) on March 19, 1995. As a young boy, he had an earnest desire to become a priest and serve the people of God. He was ordained a priest on December 31st, 2006.

Fr. Philip has Bachelor Degrees in Philosophy, in Theology, in Education and a Master Degree of Science (Physics) from Christ College, Bangalore University, India. He has served as Principal at various Higher Secondary Schools at Theni, Pala, Amanakara and Koothattukulam, Kerala. He has also worked as a Pastoral Associate at St. Pius Chapel, Amanakara, and St. John the Baptist Church Vadakara, all in India.

Fr. Philip looks forward to getting to know the parishioners at Holy Faith and serving with them and for them. We are happy to have such a spiritual, experienced and educated priest such as Fr. Philip CMI here at Holy Faith. Please introduce yourselves when you see Fr. Philip and show him the wonderful hospitality of Holy Faith.

Divine Mercy Sunday Holy Hour
Next Sunday, April 11th at 2:15pm inside the Church
Please join us. This Prayer Service will also be livestreamed for those at Home.

Every year at Holy Faith we have come together to pray for God’s Mercy at the Holy Hour for the Divine Mercy, with Exposition & Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Prayer, Reflection & the Singing of the Divine Mercy Chaplet in community. All are Welcome!

This year we are pleased to be able to return to the Church to continue with our yearly devotional tradition. We will begin at 2:15pm and look forward to sharing this devotion with all. We can fit 120 inside the church with distance. Masks are required. 

Reminder: The Novena to the Divine Mercy began on Good Friday and ends on April 10. Pray these special intentions given to St. Faustina directly from Jesus as you prepare to pray for God's Mercy in your own life especially on the Feast Day of Divine Mercy, next Sunday April 11.

CCF Sunday School Classes Information

Easter Blessings to all!

The Next Virtual CCF Class: is next Sunday, April 11 (for Grades K-9) at the same times, by grades, as in the Fall of 2020). Google Classrooms will be updated with the zoom class links posted and an email reminder will go out.

Confirmation Retreat will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021. Details will be emailed to the class and to CYM members.

Catholic Youth Ministry
NO CYM Zoom Meeting until Sunday, April 25

JOURNEY THROUGH GRIEVING TO HEALING
Bereavement Support Group at Holy Faith

 Are you grieving the death of a beloved family member or friend? This six-week support group offers you time to grieve with your Holy Faith community. This is a time for sharing about your loss, learning about the stages of grieving, and supporting others through their loss. Whether the death occurred recently or in the distant past, please come and find healing for your sorrow. Sessions on Saturdays beginning April 17th from 1:00-2:30pm, meeting in the Fr. John M. Phillips Parish Life Center. Dr. Charlotte Chadik facilitates the group.

Covid safety precautions will be followed.

It's time to mark your calendar for the Florida Eucharistic Congress on June 4-5. This year the Eucharistic Congress will kick-off at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Gainesville on Friday, June 4, beginning at 5pm. On Saturday, June 5, participants will move to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jacksonville, where the day begins at 8am with a Eucharistic Procession.
