Allen has also been featured on the music documentary show Unsung on the TV One network and over the years has worked with many talented artists in the music industry including the late Gerald Levert. Now after selling over 15 million records worldwide TROOP has now spawned a talented Producer, Song Writer, & Solo Artist known as AL MAC with the highly anticipated release of his 3rd solo release "FLAUNT IT" off his own independent label "AL MAC Enterprises" which is expected for release in the summer of 2016.  

The lead singer from the R&B group TROOP is a smooth vocalist, writer, and producer with that OG feel that takes you back to the days of true R&B. His trademark is in the uniqueness of his voice and sultry sound. Over the years, AL MAC has been a part of several musical projects with hits on the billboard charts with songs like "All I Do Is Think Of You" and "Spread My Wings" performed by the R & B group Troop, "Tender Lover" performed by Baby Face, that all topped at No.l on the Billboard 100 's chart and was also a part of the 1991 block buster film soundtrack for "New Jack City' which starred Chris Rock, Wesley Snipes, Ice T, Mario Van Peebles and Judd Nelson.
