Become & Multiply
"Summer is here! Our Student Ministry is gearing up for a loaded Summer full of ministry opportunities. One opportunity we are preparing for is our Mission Trip to NYC coming up in just a couple of weeks. We're excited to see our team of high school students share the gospel through park ministries and ESL programs to a population of people that come from unreached Muslim people groups. We want to invite you to join our team by praying for us as we travel to a city that is desperate for the gospel."

Upcoming Events
Faith and Fire: Elijah by Priscilla Shirer
Study for women beginning Thursday, June 10 (in-person and Zoom)

Elijah emerged as the voice of unapologetic truth during a time of national crisis and moral decline. His ministry was marked by tenacious faith and holy fire – the same kind you will need in order to remain steadfast in current culture. Join us as we take a fresh look at Elijah and the difficult choices of obedience that kept him anchored, sharpened his faith, broadened his impact, and invited heaven’s fire to fall. Please join the Alliance Women’s Facebook Group.

Men's Day Hike

Brothers in Christ, you’re invited to fellowship with other men of Alliance in God’s creation as they hike the Tanawha Trail. They’ll begin at the parking lot of Linn Cove and walk to Beacon Heights off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Plan for a 2.5-mile hike that lasts about an hour and a half. Meet at the Linn Cove parking lot.
Baptism
Sunday, July 11 | 9am & 10:45am

Believers are called to be baptized as a symbol of belief in whole-heartedly following Jesus Christ. If you want to learn more about baptism, visit the link to schedule a time to speak with a pastor.
Spiritual Formation Workshop
Sunday, July 18 | 3-5pm

Join us for an interactive workshop on how to identify heresy taught by Pastor Scott Andrews. False teaching was not just an ancient threat to the church; it is a perpetual threat to the true, life-saving message of the gospel. Come learn how to discern the difference between the life-giving message of Christ and heresy.

Chosen Ministry Adopt-A-Family
The Chosen Ministry has a new way for you to be involved in serving and caring for families going through the adoption and foster care process. Through this program, you are assigned a specific family to care for. The commitment is for a year. You provide them with meals, rides, house work, or whatever is helpful for them. If this is something you or a life group might be interested in, please fill out this form. You will then be assigned a family that is the best fit for you. Please consider helping to show God’s love to one of these families by walking alongside them this year.

The Colson Fellows Program
One of our Elders, Barrie Winn, will be leading a group through The Colson Fellows Program. This is a 10-month program for Christians to take a “deep dive” into worldview and culture, learning how to engage the culture with the Christian worldview and developing plans for their personal ministry. The program runs from August through the following May, and applications for the 2021-22 program are now being accepted. Questions? Contact Barrie Winn at barrie.winn@gmail.com.
