300+ Board of Directors Sign Letter to
Gov. Lamont & Legislative Leaders
The Alliance continues to collect signatures to an open letter from members of nonprofit Boards of Directors urging Governor Ned Lamont and legislative leaders to support the Appropriations Committee's plan to increase funding for community nonprofits by $470 million by 2027. Over 300 board members from across the state have signed on!

If you haven't done so yet, please forward this email to your Board of Directors and ask all individual members of your Board to sign on! We will submit the updated information at the end of the month.

Members of nonprofit Boards of Directors are integral to the strength of community nonprofits and ultimately, of Connecticut. Board members are leaders in our communities, in business and industry, and in your nonprofit organization. The Alliance needs their voices to help advocate for nonprofit services at the State Capitol.

The Appropriations Committee's historic plan to fund community nonprofits may change based on negotiations with legislative leaders and the Governor. Support from your local legislators will keep pressure on leaders to protect this unprecedented commitment to your organization, the people you serve and your community.

By clicking the link below, you can send two email messages; one to Governor Lamont, the other to your local legislators.
