ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Stan Stroh was born in Brooklyn New York, the child of World War II refugees/survivors. He attended Queens College majoring in Fine Arts and received his MFA in painting there as well. After teaching drawing and painting at a college in St. Louis, MO. Stroh returned to NYC and taught special needs teenagers for eleven years. He continued to paint and exhibit. He left teaching in 2000 to pursue his art full time. He is currently working on a graphic novel and a series called Adventures of Freddie and Zoe.
Mimi Cross was born in Toronto, Canada and received a BM from Ithaca College and an MA from New York University. She has been a performer, a music educator, and a yoga instructor, and worked briefly in the music industry. The two time Asbury Music Award winner lives with her husband and young son in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey; a half an hour from her musical home, Asbury Park. She lives surrounded by water and can see the oldest operating lighthouse in the United States from her window. The Crankamacallit, Mimi's interactive children's iPad app, was released on iTunes in May of 2011.
