Greetings, Lovers of the Green,

I just spent a lovely weekend with my husband, Tadd, celebrating our 32 years of marriage and also the birth of our great niece.

We spent some time at a sweet organic lavender farm in Sequim, WA and we also had quiet time amongst the old growth in the rain forest on the Olympic Peninsula.

The rain came last night and today, the energy of the land shifted a bit and seemed softer. I feel called to soften my hold on all that I desire and allow the gentleness of life to be present.

I am growing some Viola tricolor, heart's ease pansies on my porch. Does this plant truly give ease to our hearts. I am intending she does.

This time of year we celebrate the end of summer with the earth expressing herself in fruits and seeds. As the energy of the earth moves down toward the ground, we have permission to quiet our summer motivations to allow in some repose.

May it be in Beauty.

Peace and Abundant Green Blessings, Julie

Women and Plants

Shamanic Herbal Apprenticeship Program

“I didn’t know exactly what I was going to find when signing up. I just knew it was calling, and what I gained was more than I could of ever imagined. I gained myself. I found my voice and most special of all I found an ancient and familiar connection to old friends-the plants. This is perhaps the most emotional part and I am forever grateful to you for teaching me how to learn from plants as teachers and to learn from my intuition. The space you have created has changed my life. You helped me open to vulnerability, taught me about the wisdom of not knowing and how to unapologeticaly be true to yourself.”

New apprentices will begin,

October 14-15, 2023

Shamanic Mentorship

"Through Julie's support, guidance, authenticity and wisdom, I've come to embrace life and be embraced by life as an integral part of the whole, so guided and held in the visible and invisible realms, returning to the Garden." H.E. Shamanic Herbalist
