Allure Alliance Program updates

Q.U.E.E.N. TALK

Our recent QUEEN TALK session was an incredible experience! We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, shared their voices, and helped create such a powerful and inspiring space for connection, learning, and empowerment. Your presence and participation are what make QUEEN TALK a true community movement.

We also want to take a moment to share some important news. The City of Austin has officially closed our funding for this program. While this may change our funding streams, it will not stop our mission. We are proud to share that QUEEN TALK will continue throughout all of 2025, and our Community Health Worker (CHW) Training Program will remain available through all of 2026.

Allure Alliance remains committed to delivering top-level programs that uplift, educate, and empower our community. Your support and engagement make this possible, and we can’t wait to welcome you back at our next QUEEN TALK!

TELLING OUR STORIES & CHANGING THE NARRATIVE

BLACK WOMEN & SEXUAL HEALTH PHOTOSHOOT

Calling all Black women!

Your stories matter, your experiences are powerful, and your voice is essential. We're creating a safe and supportive space for Black women to share their sexual and reproductive health journeys, including those impacted by HIV/STIs.

Your stories have the potential to empower, educate, and inspire others in our community. Whether you've faced challenges, triumphs, or moments of resilience, your narrative can spark important conversations and break down stigma.

By sharing your truth, you're helping to shape a more inclusive and understanding world. Let's amplify Black women's voices and advocate for better sexual and reproductive health care for all.

Join us in this movement. Your story is valuable, your voice is heard, and together, we can make a difference. Share your story today.

Health & Awareness Months

August 20, 2025, is Southern HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (SHAAD), the day we rewrite our narrative! Founded by Southern AIDS Coalition in 2019, SHAAD gives us all an opportunity to join a national movement to raise awareness, erase HIV/AIDS-related stigma and discrimination, and advocate for new and necessary resources and solutions to stem the tide of HIV/AIDS in the South.

August 25, 2025, is National Faith HIV & AIDS Awareness Day

(NFHAAD). NFHAAD is a day to engage faith communities to work together for HIV/AIDS education, prevention, treatment, care, and support, and to reduce and eliminate stigma and discrimination.

Faith communities are encouraged to learn about the status of HIV funding in their state, nationally, and internationally, and take action to sustain and increase HIV prevention, treatment, and care services for all who require them. Faith communities fighting for freedom and fairness together can end HIV-related stigma and discrimination—one day, each year, until there is a cure!
