Reflections from the Field

Allure Alliance was honored to present at Continuum 2025, showcasing its commitment to advancing HIV treatment and adherence to prevention. We presented three posters on the impact of CHWs, QUEEN TALK, and how CHWs will help reach Healthy People 2030. Our presentations highlighted the pivotal role of Community Health Workers (CHWs) in bridging healthcare gaps and promoting equitable access to HIV care.

Through collaborative efforts and community-driven approaches, we emphasized the importance of culturally competent care and the empowerment of marginalized communities, particularly Black women. Our sessions sparked meaningful discussions on integrating CHWs into comprehensive healthcare strategies and addressing systemic barriers to treatment adherence.

As we reflect on our participation, we are inspired by the collective dedication to achieving health equity and ending the HIV epidemic. Allure Alliance remains steadfast in our mission to empower communities, advocate for inclusive healthcare practices, and drive impactful change in HIV prevention and treatment.

Together, we move forward with renewed vigor, committed to making a lasting impact on the health and well-being of those we serve.

June 2025 Health & Awareness Months

Breaking the Silence on Mental Health

In many marginalized communities, mental health challenges have been long ignored, overshadowed by stigma, isolation, and a lack of resources. But a powerful shift is happening today.

This month is about more than just awareness; it's about action. It's about providing the accessible and affirming mental health support that these communities have long deserved.

Join us in making this a month—and every month—of action. Your voice can be the one that helps spark someone else's healing. Will you be part of the conversation?

July 21st marks Zero HIV Stigma Day, spearheading a movement and uniting people, communities, organizations, and entire countries to raise awareness and take action against HIV stigma, which reinforces and amplifies the HIV pandemic and related inequalities.

While occasions such as World AIDS Day bring needed awareness to HIV in general, there has never been a global awareness day specifically to challenge the impact of stigma, which persists despite biomedical advancements in HIV prevention and care.
