It’s coming. A world without human government. That alone should make anticipation burn in every heart. A world with no war. No armaments. The animal kingdom will be at peace—finally.
The Millennial Kingdom is the title given to the 1,000-year reign of Jesus Christ on the earth. It is almost Heaven on Earth—but not quite. It is, however, the prelude to Heaven.
Some seek to interpret this in an allegorical manner. They understand the 1,000 years as merely a figurative way of saying “a long period of time,” not a literal, physical reign of Jesus Christ on the earth. However, six times in Revelation 20:2-7, the Millennial Kingdom is specifically said to be 1,000 years in length. Can’t we take that literally?
This is just another example of a key theological truth either ignored or misinterpreted in many of our pulpits. As a result, few can anticipate this earthly glorious kingdom.
The Bible tells us that when Christ returns to the earth, He will establish Himself as King in Jerusalem, sitting on the throne of David (Luke 1:32–33). The unconditional covenants demand a literal, physical return of Christ to establish the kingdom.
And you and I come back with Jesus at His Second Coming, from the glory of our seven years in Heaven during the Tribulation. We will restore the earth and begin these thousand years on earth with Jesus ruling.
Why on earth do we have to give up the perfection of Heaven for the near perfection of a thousand years back on a broken planet that we will restore? Good question! If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, this is your future. You might as well learn about it in advance!
We want you to catch a glimpse into what life will be like living during this incredible time defined by peace, righteousness, justice, and joy. And to embrace hope through the eager expectation of Christ’s perfect, just, and imminent rule over the entire earth as we serve in an administrative role.
That is why we eagerly promote Nathan Jones' amazing new book, “The Coming Millennial Kingdom: What Life Will be Like for Us When Jesus Reigns on Earth.”
One thousand years is a long time. We want you to anticipate your future earthly kingdom!
