Under the motto "Duty Goes Before Honor," the NEHS aims to acknowledge the remarkable accomplishments of students and faculty who excel in the field of English and literature. Assistant Advisor, Mrs. Ann- Marie John was instrumental in providing a platform to students in their senior program to showcase their talents and abilities. The society seeks to nurture their potential and create opportunities for grants and scholarships to pursue further studies.
The graduation ceremony was a sight to behold as the graduating members proudly displayed their academic achievements through their regalia. The cords, medallions, and stoles embellished with the society's insignia symbolized their dedication, hard work, and commitment to the pursuit of knowledge in English and literature. Of the 40 graduating seniors,16 are members of the society, including the Valedictorian, Ms. Aniyah Williams, Salutatorian, Ms. Naomi Thompkins, Head boy Mr. Khemoe Foye jr., and chapter president and Head Girl, Ms. Angelique Gurley.
