In late January, the "On Campus Today" email for The Ohio State University community included a request for Buck-I-Serv trip advisors. After reviewing the opportunities, I decided to join the trip to Biloxi, Mississippi for eco restoration efforts with Community Collaborations. My responsibilities seemed
simple: handle the university credit card; rent the vehicle and help the trip leaders. I prepared for the
