Altar Guild Gathering

The Altar Guild will gather this Sunday, August 30th, between services at 9:00 am in the Cadigan Room. All current and former Altar Guild members are invited.

Monthly Potluck Suppers resume on Wednesday, September 2nd.

Greeters Wanted

We are looking for greeters for our “Third Sundays @3pm" concert series and other music events throughout the year. If this is something you’d like to do, please email Rev. Jay at jburkardt@stpaulec.org.

Home Weatherizing Kits!

We have several kits to help weatherize your home that are free to anyone who would like one. Each kit contains a 10-pack of outlet and switch gaskets, a 2-pack of door sweeps, a 3-pack of window insulation kit, and 1 can of insulating spray foam for small gaps. The kits are on a table in the Parish Hall and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. They were provided to us free of charge from RGE, and we are now passing them along to you!

Augustine will be playing his Doctoral Lecture Recital on Thursday, September 17, at 7:00 pm at Third Presbyterian Church. Come and support him as he comes closer to earning his doctorate!

Almighty God, giver of every good gift, look graciously on your Church,

St. Paul’s, and so guide the minds of those who shall choose a rector for this parish, that we may receive a faithful pastor, who will care for your people

and equip us for our ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.



A Prayer for St. Paul's

O God, our heavenly Father, make the door of St. Paul's Church wide enough to receive all who need love and fellowship and loving care, and narrow enough to shut out all envy, pride and uncharitableness. Make its threshold smooth enough to be no stumbling block to children, but strong enough to turn back the tempter's power. 

O heavenly Father, make the door of St. Paul's a gateway to your eternal kingdom; bless every member and worker; may all that we do and say be done and said to your honor and glory and the spreading of your kingdom. May we continue to be forever yours and daily increase through the Holy Spirit in love and service to others; through Christ our Lord. Amen.
