Dear MTC students,

Today is the day. All Midlands Technical College classes resume with alternative instruction for the rest of the spring term. Our number one priority is setting the stage for all students to succeed during this time.

Individual instructors have already provided specifics regarding how lectures, coursework, and discussions will be delivered. If you are unsure about your classes, check D2L. If you still do not see information about your course, reach out directly to your instructor before your class is scheduled to begin.

Technical Issues

The Information Resource Management (IRM) Help Desk provides support for students experiencing problems relating to online services, including:

Student Support Services

Students can meet with a counselor for personal, academic, or career counseling and disability services via phone or zoom. Students can contact 803.822.3505, 803.738.7636 or [email protected]. The MTC Counseling and Career Services also have community resource information regarding mental health referrals, food, housing, utilities, etc. 

Advising and Registration

Summer and fall registration begins today! Earlier advising + earlier registration = the class schedule you seek. Advisors are working and ready to answer questions online via Zoom. Here is the webpage where you can schedule a virtual appointment. Remember, when you complete advisement by May 1 with no cancelations or no-shows, you have the chance to win a free, reserved parking spot on the campus of your choice.
