Dear MTC students,
Congratulations, one more week of alternative instruction is in the books – and you have less than three weeks remaining in the spring semester. You are ALMOST THERE!
As promised, we have more details about plans for the summer 2020 semester.
Remember, registration is open now for both the summer and fall semesters. Our first summer terms begin Monday, May 18. Be sure to complete advisement, register for your classes, and pay your tuition by May 8. We anticipate restarting traditional instruction on all campuses when our fall semester begins on August 24.
Thinking about giving up? Don’t.
We recognize it might be hard to think about registering for future semesters when you’re just trying to make it through this one. We get it. But, there are lots of reasons why you should think twice before giving up.
Talk with us during our special MTC Live Facebook event this coming Tuesday, April 14. The topic – withdrawals. We’ll be answering some of the frequent questions we’ve received about withdrawals, and we’ll be ready to take your questions live.
Want to make sure your question is answered? Go ahead and send your question to
advisement@midlandstech.edu with a subject line: MTC Live. We’ll put it on our list.
MTC Movie Night
Finally, we could all use a break from the stress. We invite you to connect with the MTC family and join Student Life for a virtual movie night on Wednesday, April 15th. We’ll watch
The Innocence Files together on Netflix and live tweet thoughts and reactions using #MTCWatch.
The watch party starts at 7:00p.m. “See” you soon.
Finally, as we enter into Easter weekend, I invite all of us to pause, take a breath, and try and focus on what is really important.
Stay well,
President Ron Rhames
