Dear friends and partners,

In the middle of this extremely challenging time it is easy to lose sight of the opportunity we have to create a brighter future. In the initial weeks of this unforeseen COVID-19 global crisis, we are overcome with shock, denial, and fear. But as Liam Cassidy and Christian Leonhard point out in this edition’s article “Never Let A Good Crisis Go To Waste”, this is not the first time we experienced, recovered, or even prospered, from a global economic crisis. “Companies whose leaders had the vision to use the slow down of business activities to drive real change, reaped the benefits of their strategy, rapidly growing post-crisis, expanding their market and beating the competition.”

While no organization is going to emerge from this crisis unchanged, it is during a time like this that good companies have the opportunity to become great companies. We spoke with Antonio Pagano, CEO of Modula, Inc. who shared, in interview below, how Modula is navigating through the current COVID-19 crisis and how, as the Captain, he is leading in the immediate emergency phase while also preparing Modula for a bright future.

It is in times like these that the support we give one another is more valuable than ever. Many peer networks like Altix' Le Cercle Executive Roundtable, are digitally convening industry leaders to exchange perspectives and learn from one other. As the pace of disruption has accelerated and its impact has magnified, the learning curve is as steep as it has ever been, and now is not the time to try to figure things out.

You are not alone. We at Altix are here to help you, and we are delighted to introduce you to Francis Jan who joins our growing team of senior industry leaders ; bringing best practices from world-class global companies to help you lead successful, sustainable transformations to survive today and strive post crisis.

Let’s join forces to navigate this COVID-19 crisis together and emerge victorious and stronger to enjoy a brighter future.

Enjoy the read.

"Never Let a Good Crisis Go to Waste"

Preparing now for a post-crisis
competitive ramp-up

“Every problem is an opportunity”, but too often it takes time to realize the opportunity and to act accordingly.   As world economies stall, and production activities remain low, now is the time to evaluate the strength of the organization’s fundamentals and lead radical change if necessary. When the economies restart, companies will be under immediate pressure to fulfill customer orders. Leaders who will have taken advantage of the crisis to improve or retool their organizations will leave their competitors in the dust.  [ read full article ]
