February 2023
Altona Community Foundation
The Altona Community Foundation (ACF), as a member of Community Foundations of Canada, has been given an exciting opportunity to access money from the Community Services Recovery Fund, a $400 million investment from the Government of Canada to support non-profit organizations, Indigenous Governing Bodies and Registered Charities as they focus on how to adapt their organizations for pandemic recovery.
On behalf of Community Foundations of Canada, ACF is sharing information about the fund with local organizations as they may be eligible to apply for a grant.
The application portal is now open and closes February 21; information about the fund is available through this website: Community Services Recovery Fund.
Should you have questions about eligibility after reading through the website, please feel free to contact:

Buffalo Creek Mills is proud to sponsor the local daycare facility, Kiddie Sunshine Centre, as they work towards their goal of expanding the daycare facilities in Altona. The expansion will allow them to more than double the capacity of the childcare availability within the local community. Buffalo Creek Mills values the efforts the Kiddie Sunshine Centre is working towards as it allows the business community the ability to continue to grow and bring new families into the area, while providing much needed childcare availability.
