A NOTE FROM

OUR PRESIDENT

Dear Altrusans:

First, I’d like to say Happy New Year to all our members! I hope everyone was able to safely

gather with friends and family over the holiday season. And a sincere thank you to everyone

who supported us in 2022.

I am extremely grateful to be President of Altrusa International of Oak Ridge. It is a special honor, and I’m excited to take on the challenge. I look forward to continuing to work with our Board, membership, and visitors.

I’d like to thank the Programs Committee for the wonderful Holiday party and to the Service Committee for your hard work with the Angel Tree. I know there were a lot of happy children on Christmas morning thanks to your dedication to making their dreams come true.

I look forward to settling into my role as president and I want to engage with as many members as possible - especially those who are unable to attend our monthly meetings. Please remember to fill out a notecard (left on each table) with the name of any member who is dealing with personal health issues that could use a smile or a reminder that we care.

Once again, I appreciate the opportunity to serve, and I wish you a safe and productive start to your new year!

Yours in Altrusa Service,

Kesha Waters

President, Altrusa International of Oak Ridge
