Letter from the President
Dear Alumna,
As we approach Holy Week and await the resurrection of Jesus, we reflect on the many blessings in our lives, including the wonderful education we received at our beloved Catholic High. I am extremely proud of our young women for continuously being recognized in the classroom and in their extra-curricular activities for letting their light shine, just as you once did at Catholic High!
I encourage you to consider purchasing a table at the upcoming Spring Fling on May 1, 2026 or a foursome at our Cub Classic Golf Outing on June 24, 2026, at a new location, Rocky Point Golf Course. Both of these events are wonderful opportunities to gather with classmates, family members, and friends for a day to benefit the young women of Catholic High!
May God bless you and your family this Easter season!
Lux Tua Luceat,

On Track for Medical School
Our alumnae are inspiring the next generation! Tochi Nwachinemere '20, co-founder of Catholic High's Culture and Diversity Council and member of the STEM and VPA Programs, is making big strides in her career! Since graduating in 2020, she has dedicated herself to pursing a career in medicine and growing as a leader within her community.
Tochi earned her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). At UMBC, she served as President of the Black Student Union and was an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Tochi gained hands-on experience in healthcare and research when she worked as a Research Assistant focusing on neurobiology and health research at both the University of Maryland School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins University.
Tochi is currently pursing her Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, with a concentration in Neuroscience, at Rutgers University in preparation for medical school. "My time at TCHS laid the foundation for the person I am today," shares Tochi. She also credits the environment at Catholic High for shaping her confidence in pursuing STEM and leadership roles! Way to Let Your Light Shine, Tochi!

Alumnae Volunteer with O.M.G.
We love seeing our alumnae practicing the Franciscan Value of service! Emporia Culhane '23, Grace Quarles '23, and Julianna Johnson '23 are pictured assisting Operation Mato Grosso (OMG) with their annual food drive! Our alumnae were stationed outside of various grocery stores this month asking for donations. The donations will be shipped off to various missions in Peru!
| | | | The Alumnae Giving Project | |
During the month of March, the Alumnae Giving Project supported the Archdiocese’s Grief Ministry through donations of grocery gift cards. As the ministry has expanded its outreach to include care packages for families served by Safe Streets sites operated by Catholic Charities, these contributions will now also assist families of homicide victims and those impacted by violence.
Happy Easter to everyone!
Fondly,
Bonnie Lee '60
