Letter from the President
Dear Alumna,
Catholic High welcomed our students back for the 2022-2023 school year on August 29! The summer went by in the blink of eye, but we are excited and looking forward to many of our school events as well as celebrating the next graduating class of 2023!
Fall is a busy time at Catholic High as we welcome alumnae, students, and prospective families to our amazing school for various recruitment and fundraising events. We kick off our event season on Saturday, October 8 with our 3rd annual Homecoming Fall Festival outside on our Western Campus from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m., followed by our Open House on October 22 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Then in November, Catholic High hosts the Starry Night Gala on Saturday, November 12 from 6:00 - 11:00 PM at the Boumi Shrine Center. I hope you join us to support the continued education and empowerment of our young women!
As we begin this school year, it fills me with pride as a Daughter of Catholic High to watch our students walk through the same halls as we did for four years, and emerge as empowered young women! In this issue of the Alumnae Monthly Update, please enjoy reading about the great traditions that continue at Catholic High and reflect on the many activities that took place during September. I look forward to seeing you at a Catholic High event this year!

From Typewriters to Chromebooks
|
In this edition of From the Archives, Catholic High young women work diligently on their typing assignments! Sr. Thomasine helps familiarize the students with the use of business machines such as the typewriter in the Office Practice course.
Today's Catholic High students have traded in typewriters for brand-new Chromebook laptops! They also have the opportunity to take courses such as Data Visualization, and 21st Century Technology, and assist the Technology Department with tech support.
