Carondelet Alumnae e-News l April 2021
Where Are They Now?

A first generation college student who followed her dreams to become a Marketing Manager for Atlantic Records.

"It is most important for me as a woman to support other women, and to stand up for women everywhere who wish and work to chase their dreams too."

I was inspired to go after a career in journalism by my favorite English teacher, Ms. Ditzel, who would always say that I wrote my assignments as if they would be in a magazine.

"It was my time at Carondelet that gave me confidence and was a motivating factor to follow my dreams."

Free cooking class with Judy Witts Francini '72
Saturday, May 8th @9AM PST
Judy moved to Italy in 1984 after working as a pastry chef in SF. What was planned as an extended vacation turned into an experience that changed her life forever... she fell in love with the city of Florence. She learned the language, loved the food, met amazing people and began a career as a chef.

She created Divina Cucina in 1997 offering a Market to Table program and full week programs exploring Florence, meeting and cooking with local artisans, chefs, and cooks on their farms.

As the years pass, she is always looking for some new way to share her information and she is excited to share her passion for cooking Italian with the Carondelet Community.
