Carondelet Alumnae e-News l June 2020
Some of you might have read Carondelet President Annette Eros' '85 "Justice for All" letter. For those that haven't, here is the full letter and below is an update:

As an institution, we are grateful for the many conversations we have participated in over the past couple of weeks and are encouraged by the willingness of our students, alumnae, parents, and educators to listen, learn, and engage. We are committed to offering opportunities for our school community to come together in conversation and grow together in our actions as we evolve toward a more just society.

With listening circles already underway between students and faculty, we are working to ensure that everyone’s voice can be heard. We will be sending a Diversity & Inclusion Alumnae Survey next week, and we anticipate hosting additional Listening Circle sessions for alumnae in order to better understand the needs of our community.

Real change, systemic change will take time. However, I am heartened by the authentic and passionate response I have witnessed amongst the Carondelet faculty and staff over the past few weeks. I can promise you, and on behalf of my coworkers, that we are steadfast in our commitment to becoming the change we want and need to see in our community.
