Johnathan Atkinson '16

President

Currently resides: Middletown, CT

Professional position: Wesleyan University Area Coordinator

Vision for this role: As President, I aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all alumni, drawing on my experiences as a student leader to foster meaningful connections among us. I want to provide networking opportunities, mentorship, and avenues for personal and professional growth, ensuring that every alumnus feels valued and supported.

If I had a time machine and could relive a Mitchell memory, it would be... I would have to say the summer of 2015. It was a summer during which we had a large group of student leaders stay and live on the same floor. We had the whole summer to plan the first semester of activities, and that summer strengthened the bonds of friendship that I will have for a lifetime, with countless memories.

Alex Rodriguez '16

Vice President

Professional position: Packaging Lead at Cisco Brewers

Vision for this role: I hope to be able to carry the same vigor I bring to work every day as the Vice President, reboot the Mitchell College Alumni Association with equally as passionate members, and inaugurate a new heyday for Mitchell College.

If I had a time machine and could relive a Mitchell memory, it would be... I would go back to the start of the summer of 2015 when the Orientation Leaders and RA's stayed on campus together for training. It was such a formative experience in my life, and cemented most of my friendships that still thrive today.

If I had a time machine and could relive a Mitchell memory, it would be... my freshman year right before finals ended. My friends and I walked to the beach at 5 am to watch the sunrise.
