The Alumni Association of Hudson Catholic, Inc (HCAA) recently continued its long tradition of presenting an annual gift to Hudson Catholic.
In June, the Officers of the Alumni Association - President William McGrath ’79, Vice President Rob Astudillo ’06, Treasurer Larry Basinski, and Secretary Moses Garcia ’19 - presented a check for $56,000 to Hudson Catholic President Richard Garibell.
The Alumni gift, which has become a welcomed June event, consists of amassed donations of alumni and friends in the form of Alumni Leadership Program tuition assistance awards designated to specific students, and other funds generated through Association activities that are used to support the school’s operating budget.
Chief Advancement Officer Gary Ferrari stated: “The Alumni Leadership Program is a long-running vehicle in which dozens of graduates and friends have assisted hundreds of students to attain the status of Hawk Alumnus or Alumna. We can never take these gifts for granted, yet they are vital for ensuring the fullness and richness of our student body.”
