Turkish Pop Culture Personality Speaks at International Women's Day Event

Zulal Balpinar, Ph.D., the academic program coordinator for the SUNY Empire Center for International Education Dual Degree Program in Eskisehir, Türkiye, spoke at a webinar in March celebrating the day.

Balpinar taught English on Turkish national TV, on a show inspired by Follow Me! a BBC-produced English language learning series.

Celebrating Black History Month

The SUNY Empire community came together in February to commemorate Black History Month. The event featured the acclaimed Forces of Nature Dance Theatre and their ensemble of drummers.
