"Alumni Mass and Brunch"
Transfiguration Academy's Alumni Association is hosting an Alumni Mass and Brunch at St. John Church on Sunday, May 19, beginning at the noon Mass. Brunch will follow in Conlon Hall. The event will posthumously honor alumna Charli Roberts '13, who was a standout student and basketball player, and was best known for her charisma and Christ-like character. Sister Madeline Hanson, SSND, will also be honored. She served as a teacher for many years in our school community. All alumni, parishioners and friends of St. John's, Ascension Parish, St. Mary Parish and Transfiguration are invited. Tickets are available online for $25. Please register by May 13.

"There's No Place Like Home"
Transfiguration's Drama Club has been working hard for their upcoming performance of "The Wizard of Oz." The below photo captures a dance rehearsal with members learning some moves from choreographer Santino Manocchio. The curtain goes up at 7 p.m. on May 17 and 18 at Bergenfield High School auditorium.  "Peace Poster Award"
Congratulations to eighth-grade student Christina Micheal, who was recently honored by the Bergenfield Lion's Club for her winning poster in the Lion's Club International Peace Poster Contest. This year's theme was "Kindness Matters." Pictured are Christina Micheal, art teacher Ms. DeSantis and a representative from the Bergenfield Lion's Club.
