Although school has ended for LaGuardia students, there are still opportunities to see them in action this summer.

"The arts have the potential to humanize, enlighten, uplift, and thrill us. That's what Performing Arts did for me." - Thelma Rosenblum Blanc (PA ‘51)

"My M&A friendships are lifelong and continue to be a vital part of my life!" - Chris Rogers (M&A ‘79)

"Going to LaGuardia was a blessing." - Marlon Wayans (LaG ‘90)

There are so many reasons to be thankful.
We are thankful for the tremendous support we receive from alumni who care about LaGuardia students and want to help them make the world a more beautiful place. We are thankful for having gone to a school that is diverse and accepting of all people regardless of religion, race, or gender. We are thankful that there is still a place for the arts to flourish within the New York City public school system. And, we are thankful for YOU!

Graduation highlights and
seeking a new principal for LaGuardia

Following graduation on Monday, June 24th, a letter was sent out by Manhattan Department of Education High School Superintendent Vivian Orlen stating Principal Mars was no longer the Principal of LaGuardia. For more information regarding the events and meetings leading up to Principal Mars' departure, please click here .

Superintendent Orlen, in collaboration with Executive Superintendent Rosales, is currently interviewing candidates for Interim Acting Principal (IA Principal) for placement this summer. In fall 2019 there will be an official posting for the job of Principal and please spread the word. We need a great leader with a passion for the arts who understands what it means to be Principal of this unique and amazing arts high school!

Show off your LaGuardia pride at the beach, the park, the subways, anywhere you go this summer. Shop the store for all of your alumni merchandise like t-shirts, hoodies, umbrellas, totes and more.
