LJHS STUDENT LIFE

On Wednesday September 18th, LJHS construction teacher William Ferguson and nine of his students worked with students from four other area high schools, as well as industry professionals, to enhance their learning about the various stages of development of six moveable tiny houses that each school has been building at their schools throughout the year. The experience was part of the Build Day program which builds tiny houses for unhoused veterans and is "designed to give the next generation of builders real-world construction experience."

Each year, the National Merit Scholarship Program recognizes approximately 50,000 students based on the results of junior year PSAT/NMSQT scores.  Congratulations to the 8 National Merit semi finalists from LJHS!
