RACE AGAINST TIME: 1962 MINUTES TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Brookfield Academy's Annual Fund Campaign is gearing up and we need YOU!
In honor of Brookfield Academy’s founding in 1962, BA’s Alumni Association is launching a unique fundraising challenge. Beginning on Tuesday, November 19, at 6:20 am, you have 1962 minutes—32 hours and 42 minutes—to give back and support future generations of BA students! In the meantime, send your favorite photos, whether of a beloved coach or a cherished memory.
Your gift ensures cherished traditions thrive for the next generation of Brookfield Academy students. Every gift, regardless of size, helps continue the legacy we’ve built together. Let’s come together in the spirit of the Academy and show the power of alumni participation before time runs out!
Donate and make these 1962 minutes count—because together, we continue our legacy. Plus, as a token of our gratitude, you might just find a delightful surprise waiting for you in your mailbox!

Girls Tennis Wins the State Championship!
The BA girls tennis team served up an historic victory this October, clinching its first-ever WIAA girls team State title under the leadership of alumnus Michael Rajchel '16. For Coach Rajchel, a four-time State champion coach, this historic title adds to BA's rich athletic tradition, inspiring future Blue Knights who'll no doubt be dreaming of their own titles. With Michael already setting his sights on the spring boys season, the team is amped up and ready to bring even more victories home to BA. After all, why stop at four when you're on a roll?

RACHEL VASAN '20
Shout out to Rachel Vasan, who's taking her BA education global! Rachel just snagged a prestigious Fulbright grant from the U.S. State Department and is heading to Germany to teach for the next year. She recently graduated from the College of William & Mary ('24) with a B.S. in Mathematics and a Minor in German - clearly putting those skills to great use. Keep soaring, Rachel!

BRENDAN JEIDE '21
Brendan Jeide is racing his way to the top—literally! He crushed his first half marathon in Arizona this fall, finishing in the top 5 of his age division and the top 10% overall with a blazing time of 1:43. Something tells us this won't be his last race. Keep running, Brendan!

ALEXANDRA PRANGE '24
Alumna Alexandra Prange, representing the United States Military Academy West Point on the volleyball court, recently faced off against rivals from the United States Naval Academy. As fate would have it, current BA student, Meghan Jeide ’26, was in Annapolis at the time and seized the chance to cheer on Alexandra and connect courtside. From courts to cadets, our BA community makes its mark coast to coast!

We want to celebrate you in our next edition! Whether it’s a career milestone, a personal achievement, or an exciting venture, your journey can inspire others. Send us your story and be featured in our alumni news!
Want to inspire the next generation? Early each year, alums return to campus to share their career journeys with our Level 8 students. It's a fun, two-hour event that kicks off with a panel and then breaks into smaller sessions where students can dive into careers they're curious about. It's always rewarding to see how BA helped shape our grads' lives, and the students love hearing your stories! Got an inspiring career journey to share? Reach out - we'd love to have you join us! And...enjoy lunch with fellow alums afterwards!

When you visit Patriots Hall during your next trip to the Upper School, you'll be amazed at the growing number of Brookfield Academy graduates who have continued their athletic careers at the collegiate level. A big thank you to those who have already sent in their athlete headshots—we love seeing the Alumni Athletic Wall expand!
If you haven't yet, it's not too late to be included. Please send us your athlete headshot photo. Each plaque on the wall includes the athlete's name, graduation year, college, and sports team. Your participation is an ongoing inspiration for our current student-athletes.
