Join Mr. Ricci, Dr. Pesch, and Mr. Grossman in New York on Saturday, January 28! At 6 pm, enjoy food and drinks at McCarthy's Irish Pub and Restaurant courtesy of BA. It will be a great time to connect with BA alums who live in the New York area, and catch up with Mr. Ricci, Dr. Pesch, and Mr. Grossman.

For a musical invitation, click on the image above to watch a video of the three singing along to Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" while inviting you to the event!

We continue to enjoy reading your fond memories of Mrs. P. If you'd like to share your favorite memories of Mrs. P., email the Advancement Office.

Wanted: Alumni Speakers

On Tuesday, February 7, from 8:30-10:10 am, Brookfield Academy is hosting an event for Level 8 students. This event will feature alumni coming to campus, or joining via zoom, to talk about their career paths and their experience in the Upper School.

We are looking for a few more alums to participate in this event. This is a great opportunity to help BA students as they prepare to move into the Upper School and inspire their future.

If you are interested in participating in this event, please email for more details.

Alumni Christmas Party Recap

It was great to see so many of you at the Alumni Christmas Party on December 23! Thank you to those who braved the freezing temperatures to attend the event. A special thanks to Jake '95 and Nicole Dehne for hosting us at their restaurant, State Street Pizza Pub. Charlie Wacholz '18 won the inaugural title of BA trivia champ and took home some Visa Gift Cards. Below are some pictures from the event, and click here for more.

There were 26 students who won 44 awards at the 2023 Scholastic Art Awards-Wisconsin State competition. Nine students received Gold Key Awards and will go to the national competition in New York City in March.

Winter sports are in full swing. Boys varsity basketball is 7-3 overall with an undefeated 4-0 record in conference. Saturday night at 7:15 pm, the boys take on Heritage Christian - a team with a perfect 13-0 overall record and 6-0 conference record. This game has big implications on who puts themselves in the driver's seat to win conference. The BA poms team will be performing at halftime along with Primary and Lower School students.

The girls varsity basketball team has won its last five conference games, and sits with a 7-2 conference record. The girls next play at home vs Lake Country Lutheran on Tuesday, January 24, at 7:15 pm. Like the boys, that game could have big implications on how the Midwest Classic Conference standings shape up.

State champion Adrian Bellido returns to the pool representing BA in hopes of another great season. The swim team as a whole is strong and is next in action on Saturday, January 14, at Shorewood High School starting at 8:30 am.

All athletic schedules can be found here.

The A.B.E. Club is a giving option that allows you to contribute monthly to the Annual Fund, scholarships, or other areas directed by you, the donor. Membership in the Club allows you to conveniently provide our students with all they need to succeed and helps ensure the success of BA into the next 60 years.

By donating to the A.B.E. Club, you will receive an A.B.E. patch. In the '70s and '80s, patches were awarded to Lower School students in Levels 1-5 in recognition of achieving the Honor Roll for a full term. Students proudly wore these patches on the sleeves of their jackets. As a member of the A.B.E. Club, you will receive an original patch.

One of the primary goals of our alumni association is to better connect the BA alumni community. Please help us to continue to update our alumni database by providing your most current information.
