Christmas Party and Alumni Football Game Score Big!
| |
Our Christmas Alumni Party was a huge success, and not just because of the holiday cheer! Along with great conversations, laughter, and a festive atmosphere, we also got to celebrate a Packers win. A special thank you to the Doble Family and Explorium Brewpub for hosting this fantastic event—you made it a memorable evening for all of us! Good company, great food, football victory, and Wisconsin pride. Go Pack Go, and we’ll see you next year!
The Alumni Football Game was a smashing success, filled with epic plays, hearty laughs, and a few ‘glory days’ moves that might have led to some sore muscles the next day! Whether on the field or cheering from the sidelines, our alums proved they’ve still got it—and then some.
A former student from Dr. Guru's AP Comparative Government and Politics class, Allison returned to campus to share her insights and experiences with the current class. Rumor has it, that she even managed to stump Dr. Guru with a question—proof that she's putting that BA education to good use!
It was an honor to have Colonel Charles Merkel, Commander of the 128th Air Refueling Wing, on campus for Veterans Day. He shared his experiences with Upper School students and offered inspiring stories. Naturally, he took some time to reconnect with fellow alumni—because no matter how high you fly, BA always calls you back!
It's always a blast when alumni and alumni parents return to cheer on the Blue Knights! Big thanks Domonique and Evan Zeppos for bringing the energy and proving that BA pride never fades - once a Knight, always a Knight!
Fatima Warraich returned to campus, gracing us with her presence and catching up with Dr. Bullio. Rumor has it, she came armed with tales of post-BA adventures and a subtle attempt to renegotiate her high school GPA. (Nice try, Fatima!)
There’s a new name making waves on the Notre Dame women’s basketball roster! Freshman Luci Jensen impressed head coach Niele Ivey during a closed-door walk-on tryout, earning her spot on the 2024-25 Fighting Irish squad. Luci wasted no time making her mark, already logging minutes in the team’s win over Eastern Michigan. Way to go, Luci—your BA family is cheering you on!
Liam took "no pain, no gain" to heart, spending nearly a year training for his first Ironman. From late-night training sessions to battling food poisoning the day before the race (talk about carbo-loading gone wrong) and bike troubles mid-course, Liam pushed through it all. Sixteen hours later, he crossed the finish line - exhausted, triumphant, and possibly reconsidering his life choices. Now, he's ready to take on any challenge life throws his way, armed with a lifetime of memories and a smile that says, "I survived an Ironman!"
We'd love to share your photos! Have you randomly run into a fellow alum at the airport? Attended a wedding of another BA alum? Did you hear of a humble classmate's successful story? Do share!
Don't leave us hanging - keep us updated with your contact information! Whether you've moved across the country, changed your number, or just want to make sure we've got your deets for future events, we want to stay connected. Keep the BA family strong and in the loop!
