WELCOME CLASS OF 2023!

On behalf of all Brookfield Academy alumni, I welcome the BA Class of 2023 to the Brookfield Academy Alumni Association. As part of the Association, you will receive emails like this one, keeping you updated on current events at BA, as well as interesting life events of your fellow BA alums.

In addition to welcoming the Class of 2023, the graduating Class of 1973 celebrated its 50 year anniversary of graduating from BA. Members of the Class were honored during the graduation ceremony. The members in attendance gathered at Vino Cappuccino after graduation to catch up with one another and share memories of their time at Brookfield Academy. These alums were thrilled to be back on campus, saying,

"It was so wonderful to see that the values that the Academy was founded on remain strong and alive. That is a real tribute to the legacy of the Founders."

PASSING THE TORCH

The annual tradition of BA seniors who started in our earliest levels returned to the flagpole outside Founders Hall to give current Level 1 students BA Class of 2034 hats. Michael Boucher was one of those Level 1 students many years ago and reflects on his journey through BA. Michael says, "The challenges I faced while at BA allowed me to grow into the person that I'm proud to be. Rigorous classroom work helped me become a stronger problem solver and taught me how to aim higher in all aspects of life. BA has helped me grow socially. I feel prepared for my future both personally and professionally." Michael is attending Marquette University in the fall.

BA DAVIS-LAW MEMORIAL GOLF OUTING

Now is the time to sign up for the 27th Annual Davis-Law Memorial Golf Outing. The event will be held at Westmoor Country Club on Monday, August 7, 2023. Arrive at 10:30 am to take a few practice swings on the driving range, grab some lunch, and be ready for the scramble tee time at noon. After golf, a reception and raffle will take place at 5 pm followed by dinner and awards at 6 pm.

Alums registering for the golf outing can use code Alum23 to participate in all scheduled events for $150. This is a $125 discount from the individual golfer rate. Grab three other friends to participate in your foursome. It's important that alums take control of the trophy, so bring your 'A' game on August 7!

Lanaya Martin '03 Bellomo

Lanaya Martin '03 Bellomo and her husband Daniel welcomed their son, Logan Scott Bellomo, to the world. Logan is the baby brother to sister Zoey.

Lanaya is a Brand Director at P&G working on the Luvs brand and Daniel works at GE Aerospace on the Southwest account. Lanaya and her family currently reside in Cincinnati, Ohio.
