We're one week away from the annual BA Alumni Christmas Party! Join us on Friday, December 23, from 6 pm-10 pm at State Street Pizza Pub for drinks, pizza, and gift card raffles. Each alum and guest will receive two free drink tickets.

State Street Pizza Pub, owned by BA family Jake '95 and Nicole Dehne, is located at 322 W. State Street, Milwaukee, WI 53203. We hope to see you there!

The BA community is saddened to learn that Mrs. Emily Papara, one of our most beloved former teachers, has passed away. Mrs. Papara served at BA as a Level 1 teacher from 1975-1993.

We'd like you to share your favorite memories of Mrs. P. To do so, send your memories via email to the Advancement Office. We will keep you informed regarding memorial arrangements when details are made available.

Anika Washburn '18 ended her 2022 collegiate soccer season with a bang. The standout BA soccer captain and 2017 State champion, finished her season with an appearance in another championship - the NCAA Division III National Championship.

Although her Case Western Reserve team lost in the championship game, National Runner-Up is an incredible accomplishment for the program. This is a program in which Anika dominates the record books. Now in her senior year, Anika has set school records at Case in points, goals, goals per game, game-winning goals, and shots on goal. She also tied the school record in career assists.

Congratulations to Anika on an incredible season and career at Case Western Reserve University!

Fawzi Ali '14 was recently on campus to share his insight during Mr. Jim Vaughn’s “Celebrate Computer Science Week.” Fawzi is a data scientist at Syneos Health. He works with healthcare claims and digital marketing data.

On Thursday, December 22, from 9 am-3 pm, Brookfield Academy will be hosting a blood drive to support Daniel Gives Back. This foundation encourages individuals and organizations to give back to the community in memory of BA alumnus, Daniel Perelman '21. Click the image below to register and donate in honor of Daniel.

Brookfield Academy holiday performances are in full swing. The band and choir had great winter concerts, and the Little Knights put on a fantastic Christmas show Thursday morning.

If you are in town next week, please join us in the Freedom Hall North Gymnasium at 9 am for the Primary School Christmas Program and at 6 pm for the Lower School Program.

Some BA faculty members joined the Upper School Choir for the Winter Concert last week.

The A.B.E. Club is a giving option that allows you to contribute monthly to the Annual Fund, scholarships, or other areas directed by you, the donor. Membership in the Club allows you to conveniently provide our students with all they need to succeed and helps ensure the success of BA into the next 60 years.

By donating to the A.B.E. Club, you will receive an A.B.E. patch. In the '70s and '80s, patches were awarded to Lower School students in Levels 1-5 in recognition of achieving the Honor Roll for a full term. Students proudly wore these patches on the sleeves of their jackets. As a member of the A.B.E. Club, you will receive an original patch.

One of the primary goals of our alumni association is to better connect the BA alumni community. Please help us to continue to update our alumni database by providing your most current information.
