Holly Helm was recently featured on Spectrum News 1 for being part of a medical clinic located onsite at South Division High School, a Milwaukee Public School. Holly talks about how providing on-campus care for students without having to commute for healthcare is beneficial. With many parents working full time, it's not always easy for families to access off-campus clinics.
The clinic also offers bilingual health services. Holly's Spanish speaking skills help her communicate with some of the patients she sees. She says,
"I am so thankful for my education at Brookfield Academy, especially my Spanish teachers, Señor Cruz and Señor Morse-Caruso. They gave me the foundation I needed to now serve in a bilingual clinic and make an impact in the community here in Milwaukee."

Katherine worked as a set designer for Lucasfilm to help draw the details of the sets. She drew about 20 different sets over six months. As you watch the latest season of the hit show, take notice to some of your favorite sets, as Katherine may have contributed to them! | |
Whether it's because you'll never forget 1066 and 1215, how your locker was hit by natural disaster in BAME, that you can name the first eight presidents without batting an eye and you never write in the margins, how you double check your spelling so you don't have to write it 10 times, or you were one of the thousands of prior students who have learned history through the boisterous, bearded, boom that is Mr. Homan's voice, there are plenty of reasons to join us to send off your favorite teacher, coach, father figure, friend, inspiration, or whatever other role he played in your life.
