A Message from Tara McHale
Greetings from Foxhall!
While May and June are very busy before the calm of summer, this time of year is also an excellent opportunity for reflection. When I look back at the 2024-2025 school year, I am impressed by all the accomplishments achieved in just nine short months. I would love to share some of my favorite highlights: an exciting campaign that will elevate our classroom experience, two PVAC championships, inspiring internships, an innovative Election Teach-In, competitions in robotics, math, science, and scholastic arts, excellent productions of The Lightning Thief and Puffs, an inspiring Senior-led humanities symposium, student trips to France, Costa Rica, Alabama and Atlanta, and yet another wonderful Studio Day!
On a personal note, I am excited to share that you will be seeing more of me. Over the past year, I joined my colleagues in the Advancement Office to help increase our alumni engagement. It has been a joy to connect and reconnect with so many members of our alumni community—I look forward to working with you soon! If you would like to be involved in planning a reunion, learn more about volunteer opportunities, or return to campus for a visit, please send me an email.

| | | | ALUMNI SPOTLIGHTS & IMPACT | | On June 1, 2025, we celebrated the Class of 2025 as they crossed the stage to receive their diplomas! The day was filled with laughter, tears, and, of course, a faculty rendition of Forever Young, as we honored our newest alums. Please enjoy our highlight video here and check out photos here. We are incredibly proud of the work they accomplished at Field, and we look forward to seeing what their futures hold. Check out where our 2025 graduates are headed in the Fall. | | |

Calling All 1970s Graduates!
Katie Mark ’75, Beth Moffett ’74, and Sara Ritchie ’75 teamed up to create our “First Falcons” Planning Committee earlier this spring. They ventured to the Foxhall campus and began laying the groundwork for a reunion celebrating our earliest alums. If you graduated between 1974 and 1979, be on the lookout for an event later this fall to celebrate 50 years of Field graduates! If you would like to help plan the event and join forces with Katie, Beth, and Sara, please email alumni@fieldschool.org.

Showcasing Field's Collegiate Athletes
Later this year, The Field School will unveil a permanent display in our athletic facility to celebrate alums who continued their athletic careers at the collegiate level. While we are confident in our records, we want to be certain no one is left out. If you played a college sport, please click here to submit your information and ensure your name is included in the showcase.

Josh '82 and Marjorie Harris Make Transformational Gift
In case you missed it, Head of School Lori Strauss announced a transformational gift to the School. Josh ’82 and Marjorie Harris committed $5,000,000 to the Think Bold, Be Inspired campaign to establish the Harris Family Athletic Training Center. This is the largest alumni contribution in Field’s history. Their commitment to Field exemplifies the spirit of philanthropy and will elevate our athletics program to the next level. This new facility will enhance Field’s ability to offer students an experience that pairs academic excellence with an enhanced, modern environment for exercise and wellness, and includes state-of-the-art equipment, training, and performance resources.
