‘Tis the season for preparing for the arrival of our new intern class. We are thrilled to share with you the results of our recent match. Our efforts from a busy recruitment season have paid off with an exceptional match.
Other highlights from the past several months include the Health Equity Symposium and Winter Fun Fest.
Dr. Jenny Siegel and her team worked very diligently to put together the second annual Health Equity Symposium. This year’s theme was racism and representation in health sciences. Panelists for the event included Harold Cox, Camila Mateo, Jason Sherer, Sebastian Hamilton, and Yvette Cozier.
Winter Fun Fest (WFF) was also a great success. The series if events is intended to promote wellness during the cold winter months. WFF this year had a variety of activities that ranged from APD vs Chiefs Jeopardy to Iron Chef.
Senior Resident Academic Day (SRAD) is coming up THIS Friday (5/24). Join us! The event showcases the scholarly work of our Senior residents. Below you can find more details.
Finally, make sure to take time to “catch up” with Dr. Payal Parikh, class of 2013, in our alumni spotlight and learn what current PGY 3 resident, Dr. Jason Sherer, has been up to.
