On Saturday, May 23, 2015, we said "farewell for now" to an extraordinary senior class. Earning over $16 million in scholarships, aid, and grants, we're confident in their strides as Holy Cross men and women to make a difference in their communities and wish them the best of luck in all of their future endeavors.
With our 2014-2015 academic year coming to a close, we're very reminiscent on the amazing year that we've had here at Bishop McNamara. We've experienced together the great blessing of seeing our students achieve academically, socially, and spiritually. It is with an abundance of gratitude and appreciation that we thank all of our wonderful Faculty, Staff, and Administration for their leadership and guidance along the way.
There are still plenty of
wonderful events planned for all of our Alumni in the coming weeks and throughout the summer, so be sure to read down and mark your calendars!
Enjoy reading the latest news from this edition of the Mustang Minute! |

Alumni-Student Mentor Program - We Need YOU!
BMHS is initiating a new program to create mentor connections between students and alumni. This program will promote the overall success of the student and give the alumni the opportunity to inspire, encourage and engage with our bright young leaders. The idea is for students to develop skills that will enable them to achieve, succeed, and recognize their own potential while our awesome volunteer alumni exhibit their commitment to affecting positive change in the educational futures of young people.
This is why we need YOU! You can inspire and encourage a young person to aim high and build their confidence to follow their dreams. In the process, you will learn a lot about yourself and realize that this Alumni-Student Mentor Program is truly a win-win opportunity.
You do not need any specific skills or experience. You simply need to be willing and enthusiastic about wanting to encourage, guide and inspire our BMHS students. No matter how far you climb, you should always look back to see who you can pull up along the way.
Please sign up to become an Alumni Mentor by sending an email to michael.jones@bmhs.org or calling 301.735.8401 ext. 111.
