When COVID-19 struck, it didn’t take long for members of our various national alumni chapters to start reaching out to each other, making sure that fellow Lakers were OK, and offering help to anyone who needed it.
Lakers helping Lakers -- that’s what we do.
We could use your help. We have established a
Student Emergency Fund
to support the urgent short-term financial needs of our students who are contending with lost jobs, travel challenges, and other significant hurdles. These funds will assist Mercyhurst students in the face of this crisis.
We realize these are difficult times for everyone. But, if it is within your means, we urge you to consider a gift in support of our students.

Additional Tax Relief for Donors:
Per the CARES Act, if you take the standard deduction on your 2020 tax return (the one that you'll file in 2021), you can claim up to $300 in charitable deductions in addition to the standard deduction.
