Babson Establishes Global Entrepreneur in Residence Program

Babson has become the first private college to establish a Global Entrepreneur in Residence program, helping qualified international graduates from Babson and other area colleges remain in Massachusetts, build their high-potential startup businesses, and bring new, high-skill jobs to the region. Babson President Kerry Healey was joined by Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh at an announcement from the new Babson downtown Boston location.  Read more »
Laugh with Comedian Loni Love at Alumni Weekend
Loni Love Join us at Alumni Weekend for some laughs with comedian, actress, and TV personality Loni Love. She is the co-host of the nationally syndicated TV show The Real as well as the Café Mocha radio show, and can be seen in movies that include Mother's DayMall Cop 2, and Soul Plane. Babson Athletics Hosts 35th Annual President's Cup Golf Tournament
Babson President_s Cup Last week, 112 golfers participated in the 35th annual Babson President's Cup Golf Tournament. The event, which was held at Walpole Country Club for the first time, raised more than $75,000 in support of Babson Athletics and Recreation. Read more »

Edward O. Nilsson MBA'97 delivered a paper at the Dar-al-Athar-Islamiyyah (DAI) museum's Modern Architecture Kuwait symposium on the design of Souk Al Wataniya, a 700,000-square-foot housing, commercial, and parking facility in Kuwait City. Nilsson was principal design architect of the building while at The Architects Collaborative (TAC).  See more class notes »

Graduate Student App Wins National Challenge from Toyota and Net Impact
Ayush Singhal MBA'17 and Niklaus Sugiri MS'16 worked alongside Esther Kim of the Rhode Island School of Design and John Mathai of Olin College of Engineering to win first prize in the Next Generation Mobility Challenge, a new competition from Net Impact, Toyota, and the Toyota Mobility Foundation, created to inspire millennials to address critical mobility needs.  Read more »

Babson Professor Xinghua Li Explores Differences Between Environmental Advertising in China and the USA
Assistant Professor of Media Studies Xinghua Li has released her first book, Environmental Advertising in China and the USA: The Desire to Go Green. Li analyzes environmental advertising and examines the psycho-cultural differences that disrupt the translation of eco-friendly appeals to China, exploring the different notions of "green," the underlying desires of advertisements, and how each is shaped by ideological, cultural, and historical differences. Alumni have free access through the alumni website to several of Babson's research databases. In addition, Horn Library maintains resources that may be of value to alumni engaged in a job search. Alumni may obtain a Babson alumni ID card from the Alumni and Friends Network and use the card to access resources in the library. Read more »

Babson Days of Giving This spring, the Days of Giving have inspired more than 650 alumni to give to Babson, raising more than $70,000 for Babson programs, and helping to increase the College participation rate by 3 precent! Sunglasses Startup Norton Point Is Cleaning Up the Ocean
