Six Babson faculty members with a combined 145 years of experience were honored for their outstanding service at the Commencement ceremony.

Greensole Greensole, founded by Shriyans Bhandari MS'16 and Ramesh Dhami, is making a social impact by recycling discarded shoes and creating comfortable footwear for communities in need. The company is preparing to scale up through an Indiegogo campaign this month. Read more »
LGBTQ Students and Alumni Celebrated at Lavender Graduation
Aaron Walton 83 Babson celebrated LGBTQ and ally students and honored Pride Award recipients at the fourth annual Lavender Graduation Celebration and Awards Ceremony earlier this month. Keynote speaker Aaron Walton '83, co-founder of Walton Isaacson advertising agency, offered advice to the graduates, saying "Do not be afraid to be who you are." Read more »
Babson Welcomes New Governance Members
This May, Babson welcomed three new members to our Board of Trustees and Board of Overseers. John E. Johnson '08 has joined Babson's Board of Trustees, and Gautam Gupta '07 and Amy White Orenstein '94, wife of former Overseer Ted Orenstein '94, are the newest members of the College's Board of Overseers. Melanites Jennifer Pierre MS'16 is looking to make an impact in the toy industry with her business, Melanites, by expanding representation in the toy aisles with the first line of boy dolls of color. Lately, she has been making an impact in the local media as well. Read more »

The Lewis Institute Awards Babson's Community Changemakers
Congratulations to the 2016 Lewis Institute Changemaker Award recipients: alumnus Daniel Dalet '03, co-founder of SoloCoco; faculty members Rosa Slegers MBA'13 and Cheryl Kirschner; graduate student John Kluge M'17; staff member Bob Wald; and undergraduate student Shatiek Gatlin '16. Babson Honors Class of 2016 at 35th Annual Senior Athletics Awards Banquet
Babson Athletics The Department of Athletics and Recreation held its 35th annual Senior Awards Banquet where nine individuals were honored, highlighted by the selections of women's volleyball player Mary Donahue '16 as Female Athlete of the Class and men's ice hockey player Jamie Murray '16 as Male Athlete of the Class. Carol Hacker Named Director of Centennial Engagement and Giving
Beginning in September, expect to see Carol Hacker more off campus than on. As Babson's new director of Centennial engagement and giving, she will travel to meet with alumni and share news about our Centennial celebrations and campaign plans. For 25 years, Hacker has been serving the Babson community and she has a long list of alumni she is excited to reconnect with in her new role. "I am very excited for this opportunity and a chance to meet with alumni I knew as students. They have been an important part of my Babson experience and life, and I am eager to bring them up-to-date on Babson today and as importantly, Babson in its next century." Congratulations, Carol!

The award, presented by The Immigrant Learning Center, honors outstanding Massachusetts immigrant entrepreneurs in four categories: business growth, neighborhood business, high-tech, and life science. Graduates of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program Continue to Make an Impact
This third report from Babson highlights progress made by more than 3,500 small business owners during the span of 30 months since completing the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.
