JPMORGAN FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The ABP Fellowship Program is a six-week paid, full-time fellowship held during the summer months in select JPMorgan Chase & Co. locations for undergraduate sophomores, in particular Black students.

This program will give you the opportunity to get exposure to our senior leaders, learn about our businesses, build professional development skills and positively impact the future of people’s lives, our firm and our industry. Want to learn more? Join one of their info sessions to learn how you can be part of the 2021 Fellowship Program with talented achievers from HBCUs and universities nationwide.

The registration and application site can be found here, and this flyer provides more details and a schedule of informational sessions.
DID YOU KNOW...

...that there are 438 Dollars for Scholars Alumni in the Alumni Network? And around 130 new students are added each year! Our support of our students doesn't end in high school, and we are pleased to offer a number of opportunities for alumni!

  • ALUMNI EMERGENCY FUND: The Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars Alumni Emergency Fund is available to DRDFS alumni who are currently enrolled in post-secondary education who have an immediate financial emergency that may derail their education and would like to request support. The fund allows students to meet their needs and continue their education.
  • VOLUNTEERING: Give back to DFS and current high school students! Keep your eye on your email and text for these opportunities.
  • CAMPUS MEET-UP'S: We come to you! These are great opportunities to connect with Dollars for Scholars and other DFS alumni that are at your school. These are currently all virtual!
  • ONE-ON-ONE SUPPORT: Do you need help with your resume? Wondering how to register for classes? Have a question about transferring? Just let Erin know! She is here to meet with you at any time to support you.
  • NEW - MILESTONES AND SURVEYS: As a new support measure for alumni, we have established 9 milestones that alumni should be completing each year: fall registration, FAFSA completion, winter registration, establishing one resource on campus, scholarship award renewal (when applicable), paying tuition/bill, and getting involved in an extracurricular or working. We will be surveying all alumni 2x per year, and working individually to help you reach these milestones to make it to graduation!
  • FACEBOOK: Join and connect with alumni on the Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars Alumni Facebook group! This is where the most current resources are posted.

"Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars has helped me not only in high school and my first two years of college with my scholarships, but even further after that. They helped me with professional clothes, how to prepare to be in a professional workplace, hosted fun socials, helped me financially during the pandemic, and just being there being supportive and encouraging throughout my college career. College was hard and a lot of work, and it was nice to have people who had my back." - Cheyenne K., 2020 University of Toledo Graduate
